Purchasing items for the Hawley Bed & Breakfast

My niece Roberta, lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She loves to garage sale with her daughter Kelly and her D-I-L Tara. So for the last several years, they have taken a list of things I need for the Hawley Bed & Breakfast and purchased items.
North of C. S. is the Black Forest, Monument, Palmer and other areas where many people who have lots of disposable income live. They have very nice items and many times just want to change, move or for whatever reason get rid of many things.
The main things she has purchased for me has been rugs. I have beautiful rugs, but they have all been purchased at garage sales. Then when I visit in the summer, we lay them all out on the concrete drive and vacum them and shampoo them. They sun dry and then we roll them and make them ready for the trip to Lincoln.
Some of the other items she has purchased for my house are table and chairs, bedside tables, lamps of all kinds, sinks for the bath remodels, iron, ironing board, comforter sets, mixer, food processor, toaster, etc. Also wicker furniture and other porch furniture.
They love to garage sale, we get fantastic bargins and she keeps it until I visit next time. We have a van so we take out all but the front 2 seats and go out to CS empty then fill the van to drive back home.
This is really a family effort.
