Painting & 5 gables

The house has 5 gables and the squirrels had made holes in the gables and used the attic at will when we bought the house. So we had the gables secured and painted. The trim around the top of the house was painted with burgandy and dark forrest green. We hired this job done. The guys did a great job.
The rest of the house had been covered with metal siding in 1979 when the city rehabbed it.
The metal siding on the front of the house was removed when we built the porch. I took a piece of siding to the paint store and had them match the paint to the siding. So I painted the front of the house and the porch posts the same color as the house. The porch ceiling isn't painted. The porch floor is painted grey. The steps are painted white on the risers and grey on the step.
I still need to do more painting on the porch, but it seems that when temperatures and weather are good for painting, there is something that has a higher priority.
