In the spring of 2005, we started major work on the house.
We had the 4 huge old furnaces in the basement replaced with 4 new energy effecient furnaces, 2 in the basement for 1st floor and 2 in the attic for 2nd floor.
We had only window air conditioners before and we gave them all away and had 4 new central air conditioners installed.
Some new electrical work was done. Electricity was put underground to the house.
A new 50 gallon energy effecient water heater was installed.
With the energy effecient appliances, we no longer need the 2 chimneys that the old furnaces vented into. Eventually we want to remove those.
Cost for this work was about $30K.
Contractors for heating and ac were Biggerstaff. J&M Electrical did all the electric work.
