It is lent and we enjoy going out to eat fish during lent because there are so many places offering fish, especially on Fridays. We went out to Beacon Hill Restaurant last Friday evening for the catfish special they have during lent. We went out several times last year too for the catfish. Anyway, it was very good. It was served with french fries that had a coating and were very good and a small dish of cole slaw that had a vinegar dressing. It was all you could eat cat fish. The basket came with 3 pieces of fish. It was very good, deep fried with a small amount of coating and was boneless. When they offer more fish, they bring 2 pieces. We had one order of 2 more pieces and split it between us.
John ordered a piece of cheese cake with caramel sauce. He enjoyed it and said it was good. I did taste the cheese cake and it was good. But I was too full to have dessert.
We have eaten there a number of times in the evenings and have enjoyed all the meals.
However, we have been several times for breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings and I wouldn't go back for that.
